Myself and my friend had to pay Rs.1000 to a clerk to approve a plan of a construction variation even though this was well with in the standards. We decided to pay this after 3 years of waiting and visiting the officer at least 20 times. Because we didn't have a tax receipt the electricity company was charging heaps and so we decided to pay the bribe so that we can avoid more income loss and waiting period.
