I am a senior doctor working under U.P health Department.If one talks about corruption ,D.G.Medical& Health Lucknow ,U.P.is a very good example.In 18 years of my Govt.service I had to pay at least 5-6 times bribe to the clerk in Confidential Section of D.G Office for entries of my A.C.R.This is not my individual case,so many other doctors have similar examples.If you dont pay bribe to these clerks,they will either destroy your A.C.R.s or will not make entry in the Register.Complaining about bribery to the high officials in D.G ooffice is of no use as they are either part to it( most probable) or they are just afraid of these clerks..IT is happening when an I.A.S. officer sits there as as Director Administrations. More or less the same situation is there in other sections too.So if you want to get your work done here, pay the bribe or else suffer.
