Instead of simplifying the procedure for payment of Consolidated stamp duty on issue of shares of companies registered in Gujarat, this department has lengthy documentation procedure to extract money from citizens by abuse of law. In Maharashtra stamp duty can be paid across Bank counter. Govt can facilitate e-stamping to root out corruption.
