Countryclub fraud
I got a call from ***************, chennai stating that I have been selected for a free plot worth Rs.50,000/- in chennai. They invited me to their Guindy office and when I alongwith my husband went there, we were asked to join as their club members and when we become their members, we will be offered the plot. For getting the plot, we were asked to avail their holiday resorts accommodation for 5 years for Rs.60,000/-. We were brainwashed and joined the club as members. After becoming members, we were asked to pay another 50,000/- for the plot. We paid Rs.110000/- in total and got the relevant documents from them. But whenever we tried to get accommodation in their resorts, we were told that the accommodation is full and to try another season. We were asked to pay annual maintenance fee also which was very irritable. The plot they alloted to us falls under chittor taluk, Andhra pradesh and was registered as gift deed. We are unable to do anything with that plot. We neither used the holiday resort accomodation nor able to sell the plot. Later we came to know that so many persons / couples have been exploited by countryclub India ltd. This kind of clubs should be closed once and for all.
