We had applied for death certificate of my father and we were told that they have 7-9 days to process. After 7 days we enquired with the office and they said they still have time as we (self and brothers) are all from different places and there on leave time is a factor. S, we said we can some extra and they said its not required, but it was very obvious that they were waiting for it. One of them had asked us to come his house in the evening. At his home bribe was paid. After we paid about Rs3500 the very next day they came for enquiry and issued the ceritificate shortly afterwards.
