I drove from Delhi to Gujarat. In Ahmadabad I was caught by traffic police because I did not have a vertical yellow strip on right corner of the right front lamp. I told them that there is no such law in Delhi or at least I have never been caught in Delhi for this violation and have not seen any vehicle with such yellow strip. They asked me to pay 800 bucks as fine. When asked for specific sections they said that pay 400 and go. Then without issuing a receipt they settled for 200. So gave 200 for a region specfic stupid law which was very evidently implemented in a partial manner.
