This incident happened at Sasane Nagar, Hadapsar, Pune on 09/05/2016. Traffic police officer asked me to put my bike aside as soon as he saw Karnataka registred bike near railway crossing at sasane nagar. He asked for my license and I showed him my license. He took my license from me and asked me for NOC from Karnataka RTO. As I was a week old to pune, I'm going to do it soon and give me some time to get it done. He immediately showed me one image on his costly mobile showing fine of INR 5000 for not paying Taxes to Maharastra govt. Then he said me I will give you an offer, You pay me INR 4000 and you can ride on this road. I didn't agree to that I went on asking for some additional time to pay taxes. He started to reduce his bribery amount from 4000 to 800. And, Finally took INR 700 as I was having only that much amount left on my wallet. He also gave me time period of one month to use my vehicle on that road. I'm so much frustrated on this traffic police activities. Aer you guys not paid for your job?. Even beggar is better than you officers.
