Due to family dispute I ended up in paying 3000

It is a long story. I went in to ugly dispute with my father-in-law and my wife's family and ended up in filing FIR against each other. Even though my wife's family has beaten up, they paid off huge Bribe to Police Inspector, I heard it was around 2lacs rupees.
Even I need to pay 3000rs as bribe. But ultimately, even though I was beaten up, still I ended up spending a night in Lock-up.
Next day, I was presented to the court and bailed out.
