The stamp vendors make a great deal of money on the side by selling higher priced stamp papers. If you need a Rs.10 stamp paper, they will force you to buy a Rs.20 stamp paper, stating that Rs.10 stamp paper are in short supply.Or else, you can pay Rs.15 and you will get the stamp paper of Rs.10 , otherwise, you have to go to the Collectorate, just 30 Kms only, to buy a stam paper of Rs.10 for Rs.10
