On 9th sep., JVVNL staff Mr. S.S.Meena visited at our Apartment for meter reading. I had shared my experience of past Bill. as per JVVNL, they had charged as per reading and said may be reader had recorded wrong reading earlier which was not overall digestible. Coz my electricity bill never gone above 2500 from more than 2 years (Day of Meter installation). JVVNL is not ready to accept that there may be a fault in existing Meter. if I am requesting them for Meter Inspection, they are asking replacement amount. I said, why should I pay coz there is no tempering at my end nor purchased from out source. it is responsibility of deptt. coz they had charged meter and its installation cost from consumer. Kindly halp me coz last month I had paid more than 8000 rs. without any fault and again the situation is same in next upcoming month. He was saying that he will take Meter snap from wrong angle and adjustment amount will distribute from top to bottom to declare that Meter was Faulty and that will be captured in their records also. Shared his mobile no. and said that he will update to next concerned so that nobody will enquire this. On that settlement, Mr. Meena asking me settlement amount which I had not paid. Kindly help me and investigate coz faulty meter replacement should not be a responsibility of consumer and it should be a routine check up part of department if consumer is complaining about meter faulty condition and they have to consider the case on behalf of past 6 bills consumption.
