Word by word true account : I was travelling along NIBM road in Pune. There was a small cop raid on the chowk checking for licenses and fining people without slips for wrong number plates or no puc or any other reason that they could find. I was at about 40kmph on a Suzuki Access and the way they stopped me was a cop jumped out and held my right hand and pressed the brake of my scooter by pressing my right hand. I was travelling with my fiance as the pillion. My scooter was skidding and thats how it came to a halt. They tried to snatch my key's which i avoided. Obviously furious i started screaming at the top of my voice demanding to know why i was stopped the way i was and the only reply i got was ' license dakhwa ' (show license) i lost my mind and said No, Im not going to show u my license. Why was i stopped the way i was.. i was going to fall.. the cop replies...but u didnt fall ..all this was going on at an audible volume enough for people to gather. After about 10 minutes another cop comes from behind telling me to leave and not create a scene. I refused and then he said okay.. we will take ur bike... i gladly emptied my stuff from the bike and handed the key to him..telling him this isnt over take my bike... after which he said..we need to do a medical on u. That was the end of it i started walking away leaving my bike behind. he came behind and told me why loose ur head..be cool..the story was over... and in the end he demanded 100 rupees and we left.
