To get gas connection private they clearly asked for extra money

• Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs
• New Gas Connection
• Paid INR 1,000

When i came to Bangalore a year and a half ago i needed a gas connection and for that i tried to get a proper connection but since i didnt had my ration card of the state i was denied. Well i didnt go for it as i planned not to settle here. then some of my friend told me about private gas agencies which gets you the connection but in some extra money.
When i called them and talked in Hindi they understood i am an outsider and asked me to pay 1K extra to get the coonection. Poor me had no choice as i needed that badly and i had to pay for which there is no record or receipt and that whole 1K went in as a black money for the gas agency.
