I once paid bribe of 200 INR to get my certificates verified by the director of technical education (Assam)quickly. I was already late for applying my visa to Spain because of the lengthy procedure and the guy from that office asked me for some money to get the job done quickly. I tried to my best to explain my situation to him but he said he cant do anything unless I pay him. I was amazed how openly he asked for money and I was angry too, that a boy from his state is going abroad for higher education and he is not ready to help him. I first offered 100 INR but he refused to do my work and advised me to get work done by normal process which ll take 2-3 weeks. Finally he agreed to get my certificates signatured by the officer for 200 bucks.
