Had to pay bribe for TNHB house registration at Periyar Nagar

In a recent ruling, the govt of TN had issued a notice to the TNHB to resolve the long pending case of TNHB built houses, this includes Periyar Nagar area also. Each of the houses had to pay around 1L - 1.5L (depending on the type L/M/H) to the govt for getting the registration done. The Municipality officers purposefully delayed the issue of the same and responded only when showed the currency notes.
