Had to pay to get my new house registered

After a long wait and search for a affordable flat in Bangalore, finalized on one in Marathahalli area. After all dealings with the builder, went off to Mahadevapura reg office to get it registered, never did the builder tell me about the official bribe to be paid here, not did i have enough money to satisfy the thirst of those hooligans in the registration office. They didnt allow me to register on the first day after i denied paying anything extra, reason cited was few documents were missing, while the builder has already did 40 registrations in the same month with the same available documents. Finally the builder asked to pay the bribe else they will never allow him to live peacefully as the reg office has to pay around 4 lakhs per month to BBMP commisioner as collection etc etc. Unwillingly had to pay the amount of 15000 for owning my dream home.
