I was a student in Guwahati. I applied for passport while studying and submitted documents from my college Director/HOD on letter head. I still was asked for a bribe by police to clear my name. How much? Rs. 50. By whom? An SP there. It nearly made me laughed. Asking for a bribe from student and that too Rs. 50 and that too an SP asking it.
