This was during dussera and we were going in a taxi on the main road in ameerpet. The driver took a right turn where there is a clear sign saying no right turn. We were stopped by the traffic constable and he started saying that this is a violation and all that. We told him that the driver did it on mistake, to which policeman said sir happy dussera. My collegue gave him rs 30 which he happily accepted and let us go.
My concern is that the traffic situation in hyd is the worst i have seen and the traffic police are rendered ineffective because of the underlying communal tensions, to the extent that there is total anarchy on the roads
