How the Delhi Pollution Control Committee pass the samples of affluent discharge.
- Public Services
- Bribing of Government Officers
- Paid INR 4,000
We are required to get the mandatory consent to operate permission from the Delhi Pollution Control Committee for which the test of the sample of water discharge is conducted by the so called technical people from the laboratory of the said department. The officials there collect the sample after very long gap of time after application and in this process demand for money other wise they say that they would "fail" your sample hence no permission can be obtained by the applicant. The rate they quote is Rs-4000/ per sample . They openly quote this rate and demand the money on phone or inside their lab when you approach there to know about the status of the test reports of your case. Unless that amount is paid they would not process the sample thereby stalling your entire process of getting the mandatory permission for running your unit. The moment bribe is paid the entire process is facilitated otherwise your test will remain pending for months together or ********** be failed . How the government is protecting the environment is evident.
