At Hyderabad airport Customs check
We were coming out of the airport on Feb 3rd, 2013 early morning after immigration check and there were these two customs officials standing there on each side to let people out in two lines. When I handed my customs form to one of them, he said in a low voice ' There is no one else now in duty, give something and move on' . He did not even check what was there in my bags. I was also not carrying anything excessive (No laptop ). Since I was with my wife and baby and in a hurry to just get out of the airport as many of my family members are waiting outside, I did not even think twice before checking my pockets to see if I have any Indian currency. I had two Rs 50/- bills and took out and handed to him which he gladly accepted and let me go. I feel equally guilty in this transaction as I did not even say a single word to that official why I should give anything. I realized my mistake as soon as I stepped out of the main door and it was too late by then.
