I bring the jewellary which comes under the Customer duty
- Customs, Excise and Service Tax
- Customs Check and Clearance

I purchased Gold Jewellary from UK for my wife.. before purachse i have go through with the all customer rules and as of my knowledge its comes under the customer duty and you have to pay 600rs odd for per 10gm Gold jewellary. but when i reach to airport i directly go to custom area as i don't want to hide it too... they argue with me that You are not aligible to bring the Gold Jewellary. I just took me in one room and threaten me. I don't carry those print outs of Custome rules and i don't want to trap in any type of police case as i m frequent flyer due to my work. so I have paide nearly 60Pound cash to custome officers...which is nearly 4000rs.
