Whole grampanchayat was very visibly demanding for the bribe. Including PDO secretery case workers, accountant.
Fr my khatha transfer, I had to bargain to reduce bribe to Rs.3200. Here they have fixed 5000 for each registration of site of size 30x40. and more for bigger dimensions, every day many kahatha transfers happen. These people are looting public money.

I was not aware that each sub registar office in karnataka also has fixed price for each reistration till I paid 10000 for the registration in Hebbal sub registar office. hey have fixed some percentatge of total cost for registration in each sub registar office
Assuming 50 registrations happen per day, my calculation says sub-registar take home around 5 lakh rupees bribe a day home.
Wake up India , at least for your next generations.
