I have applied for passport. As a part of the passport applying process each and every person have to get certified in the local police station that the person who has applied for passport is not having any FIR on his name. For this certification process the police constable contacted me over phone and called me to police station and he asked me to sign a form. After i signed, he just openly asked "give me 200rs and go". I was shocked on hearing this. And finally i paid the bribe and moved from that place. Is there any one to take an action on this. Not only for me it happens, but for most of them who are applying the passport, Badge license for Taxi purpose are cornered to pay the bribe. So it would be good if some changes is made over this activity.
