I am real estate builder and developer in bangalore. I have paid nearly 2 crores, for deputy commissioner and assistant commissioner bangalore north, on june 2014 for getting residential converstion for 15 acres of land. The painful part in this govt raj rule, they demand anything around 5 crores and more for converstion of lands depending on land size. If we pay bribe then all will be fine and our work will be done within a month, but if you dont pay bribe, we can find all objections and multiple enquiries.
