I was forced to pay the bribe.

I landed into Mumbai on the above mentioned **********.
My bags were put through scanner and the customs officer on the x-********** tapped my bag. Soon some guy in civil clothes came there and asked what I had in my bag.
I told him there were a few chocolates and 2 litres of liquour bottle (which I am allowed as per the customs documents). He said that I should pay him to get the matter resolved.
I argued with him and asked him to open my bags and let me know what he thinks is not allowed. He kept on insisting that I should pay and he doesn't want to open my bag. This thing went on for another 20-25 minutes. He started demanding money starting with 50$. I told him I dont have anything to hide, but he just refused to let me go or open the bag. In the end I had to pay 10$ and he then let me go.
