I am in software company. I have paid taxes continously for 6 years. In 2006 I am an entitled to get return of Rs 50,000 for my taxes paid. I have filed my return and went to US for long terem assignment. In my absence I told my father to follow up after 1 year of waiting. But it's my bad that I told my dad to follow up as after that he keep on going income tax office for 2 years but nothing happened. My father don' want to pay bribe but after 4 years I came back to India and I am left with no option other than paying Rs 4000...shame on this system...My father has to go 100 times in age of 55 to get my own hard earning money....i worked day and night to earn this money...it's my money not this corrupt govt people...
