Incorrectly registered a FIR against me, instead of someone with same name.

I work at Pune and belong to Gwalior. While I was in Gwalior, I got to know that a case has been filed in my name by the Gwalior Police. I went there and found they have falsely registered a case in my name, instead of somebody having the same name as mine.
After lot of verification, Police understood that they made a mistake. But then, in order to get the FIR cancelled they asked for Rs. 1,50000. I met local leaders, Police commisioner to no resolve. As my job was in Pune, I had no option but to succumb to their demands.
