We have been taxes for our property for years, it is a family owned property for 100+ years. When I requested a land ownership certificated based on the payment of taxes he was insistent that we were paying taxes for some other property. But he was easy to be convinced we own the land we lived near Vellayambalam with a Rs. 15000 bribe. Outside there were vigilant officers and he was particular they should not get to see the transaction. Basically I was travelling from abroad and had to move on this fast, looking back I made a mistake in paying this ********** officer anything. I have lost a lot more to another case, and that is another story with the corporation. Trivandrum corporation is full of corrupt rascals and should be shot in a line of fire, in my humble opinion.
