I was driving through the same Haji ********** Junction which I have been driving through for the past 4 months twice a day at least 6 days a week. One fine evening I was pulled over for cutting lanes. Ironically, in that sea and maze of cars, where fellow drivers don't mind pushing one over the divider to squeeze in their car, not even the police can identify lanes. But this traffic cop tells me I cut lanes...recall..I was standing in the right most lane to take a right turn..didn't cross another car or block the traffic. On asking the gentleman claims that only U-turn traffic can stand on that lane...point taken I say..considering that the realization is recent to public at large and to him too...how about warn me and let me go..(in the mean time 4 other cars to the same and drive past us), keeps me standing for 45 min (peak traffic time with passersby hooting) and eventually says give me 100. I paid bribe...
I looked into the rear view mirror...he pulled over another lady for apparently the same violation...
