sir, when you talk about corruption than I can bet india is the most corrupt country in the world. Each and every department and 95% of government officlas are corrupt here. Recently one of my friends went to a bank to get loan sanctioned. It was United **********, Giridih Branch. He filed his papers for loan on 5th of December 2008. He kept on visiting the bank for disbursment of loan. The manager kept him telling that he will sanction the loan, then one fine day he told the person that he needs to visit a chartared accountant who will look into the papers and make balance sheets. When this person went to the chartared accountant named Mr. ****** ******* who has office at makatpur giridih then he was told to pay seven percent of the loan amount. When he asked the reason for the charge, he was told its the service charge and if he doesnt pay the charges he won't get the loan sanctioned. Then after lot of bargaining the amount was fixed at five percent and that person paid the bribe to that chartaered accountant who in turn paid the money to the bank manger and his loan was sanctioned. At my place its a big nexus for loan thing going on. Every bank manager has set one chartared accountant or one agent to take bribe. My freind paid one lack fifty thousand rupee as bribe for santioning thirty lack of loan. It was really disgusting to see the bank managers taking money to give loans and thee is no place we can go and complain because whomever u complain is a corrupt person. Ashamed to be part of the corrupt system
