I needed to register my marriage to get my passport done. The people in the registrar office were not telling exactly what needs to be done and what papers are needed. Everytime they wanted new papers. Finally the deal was struck at Rs5000. But when I paid, the file stalled because they said inter religion marriage will not be done. The bribe was raised to 10000. The certificate was made and they showed me a photocopy and said they need 15000 now for it. Finally paid and got it done.
