My Plumber is trying to get his brilliant son into a med school, anywhere in the country. In spite of the boy doing well in grade 12, med schools across the country are asking for bribes ranging between 18 in Mumbai - 28 L in UP/BHU for admissions into the **********! Two things happen right here. The future Dr starts his career on the wrong foot, and the quality of the Drs who had low marks but paid money is what are then let loose on the unsuspecting patient! How is a plumber supposed to pay such a large sum??? I could not even if I would? This is the basis of insanity and frustration. He is saying that its cheaper to go overseas than to study and make a career here. And he is right!
