I met an Accident on the Signal. A Speedy Private bus hit me from the back on the signal when I stopped on the Red signal. Police instead of cooperating me they took hold of the Private bus driver and left me on signal. We can guess why they were more interested in that bus.
However, few locals helped us and suggested us to go to Police station. No police was their to guide us to police station but locals guided us. Damage to vehicle was huge.
Police noted the FIR but did not give that to us for 1 week. When we asked if you need money then Bluntly said " If I had offered the very first day i would have made the FIR that day itself ". He demanded Rs.1500 for the FIR. After earnest requests he settled on Rs.700.
I already lost like Rs.30,000 on the Damage repair apart from Insurance. Neither I got any compensation from the Bus driver and above that instead of cooperating Police demanded for Bribe from me.
