At RTO office in Ahmedabad, Driving schools and Agents rule the center.
If you are associated with a driving school, it takes less than 10 sec for a 2 wheeler test! You just have to start and move 10ms and park. Official signs the form without even look at you driving ! Car driving was even a bigger joke. You are made to sit in the car, the sarkari babu press release the break and 5 sec.. STOP- DONE! Each driving school pays them lot of money to bribe the officials. Babu's dont even test basic safety procedure before giving license! If you are not associated with a Driving school- people are made to want in long que, tested for couple of minutes and most are failed.
I Was with a driving school- I drove a two wheeler to RTO office. But it was gearless Kinetic Aviator (I dont own a geared one).
He charged me 200 rupees to get the geared 2 wheeler license (Although he never looked at others driving).
Car license as I said was a joke. That fellow did not even let me apply klutch!
