I applied for duplicate liscence in nearest office of authority. I was asked Rs. 800/- by an agent for the submission the same day. I was asked to come after 3 days. The person after going through papers asked for FIR copy which the police stn was not ready to provide so NCR was asked . Further an Affidavit was required. Later on I was told that my application has been marked to original issuing authority so have to go there. I had to go around for 3-4 days to get the document all because I did not pay any bribe.
