My husband was scared so paid bribe to police for verification

My daughter and my passport has to be renewed. After struggling through the passport office in Ghaziabad ( which is another story), we got our passports in Tatkaal.

The police officer came to our residence to do the verification and in both instances took Rs 500. Scared that they will give and adverse report my husband paid them off.

These police wallas think they can get away with anything because the citizens don't want to get into any issues with them. About time the police department was cleaned.
