No Choice : I had to pay the bribe
I have to pay 200 to MCD health department every quarter for sparing me of challan upto 5000 which they can enforce on me. The bad thing is they are not justified as there is no water logging inside my premises , even if its there , the amount of stale water is not enough to become breeding ground for deadly mosquitos but because we fear that we cannot prove this thing and nobody willing to listen to our arguement we had to pay the bribe. Ironically there is always pond of water accumaled on streets and drains which is ofcourse the main source of moquitos breeding but they cannot challan their own department for mis management or lack of resposibility in giving public service. This is common and about 2000 industries running and each have to pay a minimum of 200 per factory to live peacefully without fear of challan. The total amount of bribe collected in Narela Industrial area is minimum 400000 per quarter ( 3 months).
