Non-uniformed highway official risks life to collect imaginative bribe!

We were stopped at full speed on the highway (Hosur Rd) in the middle lane by a character on a Honda Hero motorbike who pulled in front of our van and feigned apoplexy - endangering hundreds - not least himself. The charge curiously was that we lacked a necessary stamp on our permit form P.Sp. - which was at the time safely tucked in our glovebox and invisible to him. Upon inspection, we showed him that the form had the required endorsement, but he snatched the evidence and put it in his saddlebag. We then followed back to the TN-Karnataka crossing to buy it back for 300INR. A brave man, doing his part for Karnataka!
