Officers is still accepting old notes for Bribe
After making an online application and getting the file ready to move for CST application, i was instructed to go and meet an officer for inspection. My accountant met Mrs Geeta, she takes care of the Saibaba Colony Division in Coimbatore Sales Tax Office. We have her number however not her designation. She demanded INR 3000.00 and said she will need more money when she comes over for inspection. The amount is not an issue, however I want to see the end of this culture in India, where the government is trying hard wipe out corruption, still these government officials are the worst part of the system. Please help us reporting and exposing such officials. I dont care whether I can do business in India or not. But atleast the concept of Make in India becomes a darned lie with such officials.
