I was intimated before since i do not have a Address proof i may have to pay amount at RTO. I searched on internet left and right and found out that the Registered Leave and License Agreement is a valid proof with police verification certificate apart from that i had a letter from the company stating the address. Loaded with all these document i went to RTO on 10-07-2014 the car came from the inspection everything completed then we waited for whole day nothing happened the agent said come tomorrow or pay 5000 and get it done.
Next day it was the turn for my wife to go and sit in RTO same thing we were not called again, and we asked what was the reason they said please bring the original of L&L agreement which was with owner and he was in Singapore or else he will not give clearance.
Finally with nothing to say we had to give 5000 under the table as the officer was not ready to meet without the document and it was rainy season and we wanted car to be delivered soon.
