Well,i dont remember the exact **********, but i will have to put up this to you and let everyone know (ofcourse everyone knows about this). i was aksed for chaai-paani(money) by a police constable posted at Vasai west(Ambadi Road) police station, as he told me ' file aage badhani hain to paise toh lagte hain' i asked him but why? on which he replied dena toh padega. i told him i will speak to your superior and he said ' sahab is busy aur unke bhi baal bacche hain' (even he got Family to lookafter). I didn't know as my friends told me give it to them or else they might not give you clean verification and they will delay it harass you for no reason. on which i was so angry and fuming but as i didn't had any option (or maybe you can say i was not aware of law, lack of information. I had to give money to constable. He said, its not only for me 'Upar tak distribute hoga'. so i thought the whole department is corrupt. Now iam staying abroad from last 7 years and where i see there is no corruption atleast at the bottom level, I don't say or can't say there is Zero corruption, but whereas i have seen or gone through,i didn't met a single person *******
