Paid a bribe of 2500 for Vehicle registration.

I recently bought Honda bike from Aman Honda Pune, and I had to pay 2500/- extra just to get clearance from RTO!
I was having notary agreement and owner was not ready to have registered agreement as he would need to pay Tax to government from Rent income.
I came to know that govt has rule of passing vehicle only on basis of registered agreement!
I really don't think, even 50% people who purchases new vehicle have registered agreement and are being forced to be a part of such shitty systems and have to pay bribe!
I checked with all HONDA showrooms, they all have internal settings with RTO officer, who would be passing the vehicle.
I am not going to buy new vehicle very soon, but posting on this forum because I feel so bad about it....
If I would have done any mistake, would be happy to pay fine rather pleasing those THULLAS
Our system left me with no choice and was bound to pay Bribe....
And daily thousands of people buy their vehicle like this giving 2500 to those bastards....
DO WE HAVE ANY ALTERNATIVE ?
