I've paid bribe more than one time for my passport, to get my income certificate from revenue office.
The thing I still remember is what I have encountered in the Revenue office, Me and my Father went to office to get my father's income certificate, we did several rounds around the office for almost a week, at the end we have paid Rs.5000 to revenue officer and to top it we have paid to the peon to get stamped the certificate with the revenue seal.
After coming out of the office I raised this issue with my father his reply sent me into thinking and a lot of introspection HE SAID THAT WHAT CAN WE DO WE ARE IN SUCH A SOCIETY, FOR YOUR INFORMATION MY FATHER IS A FARMER A 2 STANDARD DROPOUT. From then on I was introspecting myself and I was observing my surroundings, one thing often I came across in our society is TAKING PRIDE IN BREAKING A LAW AND LAUGHING AT A PERSON WHO FOLLOW THE RULES, I hate this attitude of our people rather than politicians. Respect the laws and respect every person irrespective of their profile and what they do because they deserve respect except if they are looting and earning in an illegal means. EVERY PERSON EDUCATED, UNEDUCATED DOING A JOB WHATEVER IT MAY BE AND EARNING BY SWEATING IT OUT DESERVE EQUAL RESPECT HOWEVER BIG OR SMALL JOB IT MAY BE RESPECT EVERY INDIVIDUAL.
FINALLY I THINK AS A SOCIETY WE HAVE TO CHANGE TO ELIMINATE CORRUPTION. I SAID ABOUT RESPECT BECAUSE IF THERE IS A SENSE OF EQUALITY PREVAILS THEN NOBODY CAN THINK THAT I AM DOING AN EXTRA FAVOR FOR WHICH HE NEED THAT EXTRA MONEY....
I HOPE INDIA WILL BECOME CORRUPTION FREE
