I was stopped at customs asking me for details of things I was bringing back home, my bag contained boxes of chocolates that did not cost more than 100 dollars and also a declared item for duty free. The officer kept threatening me and asked me to talk to one of his colleagues who asked me to pay up in order to go out. A policeman in the nexus was given the responsibility of collecting the money behind closed doors. I was so scared I paid up, now that I think about it I am really angry I did. No more, I wont pay these people anymore, but just so people know customs officers at Mumbai airport accept money below banners that say dont pay bribes!
