I live in ********** Nagar, Porur in the suburbs of Chennai. It was sometime in the month of December in year 2006. After several hardships in trying to get a passport, the postman finally arrived with my passport. But he openly demanded 200 rupees for it and I had to pay him. He said it is nothing unusual that he had asked and it is customary for them to receive 200 rupees for every passport they deliver.
