Paid bribe to get the police clearance for passport application

I paid 500 Rs for getting police clearance done for my passport application. The policeman who came to my house to verify that I live there directly ask for what they call in the local language "Chah-Pani". I paid 500 so that he sign and submit the clearance report asap. Also I paid Rs 100 to the postman who delivered my passport as he was also not handing me my passport without getting *******
