I paid Rs 600 bribe for getting tatkal tickets for Pune-Patna express. The cost of ticket was 1600 but I had to pay 2200 to the agent as it is virtually impossible to get a tatkal ticket through normal process. The IR website hungs when you try in morning and if you go to ticket counters it is highly unlikely that you will get a confirmed ticket as the counter person give preference to the ticket request made to him by agents who send them the list in one day advance. In this way both make illegal money. Normal tickets are not available even if you try 1 month before. This is really a sad state of Indian *******
