Paid bribe for not having NOC
I have a two wheeler shine bike of 2010 Model. I am a software employee working in cognizant. I came to chennai last year i.e feb-2013. During first 6 months of my training i was near to siruseri office so never face dificulty of transportation. But when i got deployed in chennai Tambaram office . From siruseri - Tambaram it was very difficult to me to travel this long distance.so i brought my bike in emergency.I did not do NOC in my state Andhra Pradesh. Till now i didn't face any problem with any police but last week when me and my friends after returning from Phonix mall towards medavakkam at velachery stop one police caught me and immediately asked for NOC. I said i don't have NOC.Then he asked me to pay a sum of Rs:2500 as fine now or come tomorrow and pay Rs:5500 in mobile court something like that he said. I was bit nervous thought why to pay 5500 rs. i said i don't have 2500rs in my pocket then he asked me to bring from ATM. I said it is month end i don't have that much of money. i stood there for almost 1 hours after that he reduced the amount for 1500 i still said i don't have that much also in my pocket. Then he said give 700 and take your bike. At last i managed him to pay 500 rs and took my bike from that place.In a hurry i forgot to take my license from him. Feeling so embaraced.
