I went to police station for passport verification. They had asked me to wait for sometime. After that the police inspector called me and asked few question. Then he told me clearly that if you want to process your file ASAP, give me 200 Rs.
They don't hesitate to ask for the bribe and they take in front of everyone. Horrible?
This looks like a mandatory process while getting passport verification and it happens in most of the police station as I have heard from many of my friends.
