Paid bribe to police for recovering my money.

We paid a bribe of rs 30,000 to the police for recovering our money. A guy had cheated us of Rs 20,00,000/-. We lodged a complaint and hoped the police would do the necessary. They recovered Rs5,00,000 and gave it us. We took the money and returned home. On way the writer from the office gave us a call and told us that "sir (senior officer) was upset since we left without notifying him". When we went back then openly asked us to pay Rs. 30,000/- as bribe.
