I got a call from a constable named Kanhaiya Singh He asked for 700 Rs bribe so that he will forward my verification request further.When asked why is he demanding money. He said this is a fixed charge and also it is equally distributed among smaller ranked policemen. after doing that I had to wait for 2 weeks before my report was filed because of holidays taken by the SO and the guy who does the paper work. I went with all the papers that were required at the police station. Inspite of that they asked me for 1300rs extra. When asked why again same reply they have to collect it for the higher officials and everyone has equal share. They also say they will write negative remarks in the report or they wont send it forward if not paid. I paid

Because It is very hard to fire people working in the government these guys do whatever they want. Only if they are held accountable it is possible to change
